First Year Experience, Introduction to Professional Nursing, Medical Communications, Pediatric Family Centered Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, and Nursing Synthesis.


Mrs. Branham began her career in nursing education at Lindsey Wilson College in 2015. Her primary content areas of expertise include, pediatric nursing, mental health nursing, and public health nursing. Her practice focuses on mental health, health promotion, disease prevention, and wellness within the pediatric population and across the lifespan.

Since August 2015, Mrs. Branham has served as an Instructor of Nursing within the Division of Nursing and Health at Lindsey Wilson College. She first joined the college in January 2015, and served as a nursing adjunct instructor. Mrs. Branham began her career in nursing at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY working medical surgical, orthopedics, pediatrics, and oncology. Early on, her primary practice focus shifted to pediatrics. In 2006, she transitioned her focus to mental health care of the pediatric population. In 2008, while continuing her work in mental health, she also began her work with public health, specifically in school health. She served this pediatric population for an extensive period of time, receiving recognition and completion of Public Health Leadership with the University of Kentucky, College of Public Health.

Mrs. Branham grew up in Burkesville, Kentucky, where she currently resides with her husband and two sons. She enjoys very much working with students in the nursing discipline and watching them grow and excel as they pursue their dream. Outside of her time here at the college, you may find her on a baseball field or basketball court with her two sons.
