Why Communication?

Many college graduates fit neatly into an occupational niche. For example: education majors become teachers, and human services majors become counselors. The possibilities for a communication major, however, are diverse and virtually endless.

Entry-level jobs for a communication major include: personnel recruiter, labor relations specialist, speech writer, advertising/marketing specialist and campaign director. A career in communication can eventually lead to positions such as vice president of human resources, director of media relations, vice president of marketing, and an administrative officer at a college or university.
