Originally from Quebec, Canada, Susan moved to the U.S. in 1984. She and her significant other currently reside in Monticello, Kentucky and part-time in Sarasota, FL. Their only 'child' is a canine one, Winston, who is an adorable 9-month old West Highland White Terrier. Some of her hobbies include travel, gardening, photography, hiking, and writing.
In 2015, Susan completed her doctorate in a blended program so consequently, she has an appreciation of juggling both work and school responsibilities and she is also very familiar with the online learning platform.
Susan has been on faculty at Lindsey Wilson College's School of Professional Counseling since 2004. She is a licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC) and has 29 years of experience in mental health and substance abuse counseling. Susan has also been privileged to enjoy several leadership positions over the years: President of the Kentucky Counseling Association from 2012-13, and President of the Kentucky Mental Health Counselors Association from 2007-2009.
Creating a learning environment that promotes student success is a high priority for Susan and she is committed to making your learning experiences meaningful.
